I haven't looked at the checklist but I suspect the print run has gone up significantly rather than the manic peak subsidingregular cases sold out after about 10-11 mins, then went back online, are now showing sold out again
so still a much bigger sale than traditional footy stars, but it does seem that the manic peak is passing
People like what they know. Change can be a bit scaryWeird that the regular footy stars sold out faster than the Jumbo, I thought it would be the other way around...
Yep sure didIt's all still for sale( other than standard cases) 2.5 hours after release. Didn't it all sell out in 5 minutes last year?
Defintely two different albums. There' the usual soft cover zipper with two packs and then there's a hardcover ( like teamcoach) one where the sleeves are glued in and you get one pack with that one.First time ever I lashed out on a case of Jumbo's and please correct me if I am wrong but did Select ask for a tip? is this something new as I don't think I have seen it before
or have I got dirty glasses, also noticed 2 different types of albums
Everything still available except the regular case
I would happily buy another 5 cases of jumbos but not allowed
Haha not risking my scc membershipSet up a sale thread. I will buy you a case
I am just a man buying a case that i need to sell straight away because of billsHaha not risking my scc membership
A bit of both I reckon. Plus I think many were forced to buy a lot of cards all at once last yr . When many , like me , tend to buy a box here and there.Demand dying or print runs through the roof?
When did select include this Information, I didn’t realise you get a virtuoso pack per jumbo case. I agree the jumbo is better value than the regular.Bought a Jumbo box tonight. I notice both the Jumbo and regular Footy Stars boxes are the same price, is the general consensus that the Jumbo boxes contain a fair bit more value insert wise? The Select website says that every 8th individual Jumbo box purchased will have a free bonus Virtuoso pack, that along with the Virtuoso signature cards would seem to suggest so.
Here is the link, under Releases on the Select website https://selectaustralia.com.au/pages/2022-afl-footy-stars-jumboWhen did select include this Information, I didn’t realise you get a virtuoso pack per jumbo case. I agree the jumbo is better value than the regular.
Personally, I have taken the punt that the Jumbo will hold slightly more collector value longer term. But I feel it will be marginal. If I interpret the prelease information correctly, the main points for mine prior to release are that the lack of ability to pull any of the Coleman, Brownlow or Premiership Predictors from the Jumbo boxes is an omission from the Jumbo's insert set that weakens its overall attractiveness. The revised checklist from Select suggests the "A Grade" Virtuoso pulls (V37 - V78) will be exclusive to the Jumbo case inserts (let alone the 1 in 9 case Virtuoso signature potential). If Select adopt the approach that the higher tier players or rookies are exclusive to and represented in the Spectrum Redemptions 4 and 5 as well, then the Jumbo line will gain extra strength.I notice both the Jumbo and regular Footy Stars boxes are the same price, is the general consensus that the Jumbo boxes contain a fair bit more value insert wise?
