I love the hypocracy on this thread, it's hilarious.
No matter how ugly the product is, and how easy it is to hit 'rare inserts', this certainly has generated a good buzz for the hobby. I've been saying it all along, if Panini made inserts worth chasing.... hopefully this has opened their eyes.
And for the record, original PMGs all had different designs because the background of each card was different. So clearly they're going to look better, the new ones all look the same!
Just had my first "pmg" arrive today, a Hal Greer Red. Nice card, but not like anything I was expecting.
Pretty boring background, it doesn't really pop out or anything.
