Here is a question for the sellers who are reading this.

How the hell do you handle such a big transaction without the fear of being ripped off? i.e. paypal claim "item not received" BS which we seen MANY time on this site.

I am considering selling something big, and I am sure the OP will appreciate that info too.

yeh I was thinking that as well. There can be some huge risks invovled..hence why im having doubts on selling to international ebayers. I will probably ask the potential buyer for his address, his fb account, his work number, sign a contract lol..etc..etc
most money i have dealt with was $500 and that was local

well done mate thats a huge pull! and surely the more valuable number out of 6 and 23 would be 23 as thats what is on his jersey on the card.

Huge congratz mate, that is an awesome pull!!

Just list it with the postage costs of a return ticket to hand deliver

Yeah. Thats one thing to worry about... Cant really give any advise on that. lol.. Goodluck anyway.

I would sell at a slightly lower price to someone off eBay and well known in the hobby. They can flip for the extra dollars if they like, but reduce your risk!

Well I do know one way is to use brokers to do the sale for you. But you have to pay them a percentage fee and ship the card out first (which they hold) and seller sends payment to them once goods have been confirmed to be genuine. then you get paid later. Takes a few week sbefore you get paid.

Would be nice to see what peopels exp with brokers are, or if they sold themselves big items.

The way you do it is sell it to someone locally and let them worry about selling it elsewhere!

If you did, i would send it with someone like Fedex/DHL or one of the bigger freight companies where you have a better level of protection. May cost you a lot more but worth it.

Regards
Matt

I am going thru the same thing now, I have my tiger woods Auto listed ( apparently only 5 in existance) and the last one sold for $2,700
Mine is the last of the 5 to show up for sale... so scared on the postage side of things when it finishes!

I might pot it with a GPS tracker lol
