First box of Panini Crusade (new collector)

Hi All,

Fairly new to collecting (well, let's say "newly returned" as I collected a long time ago). After buying a box a few months back and not getting a whole lot I thought I'd try Panini Crusade. Here's the result:

First, the plain old prism's:

Can't say I know a lot about the player, but a 1 of 1 is nice.


Overall, I'm satisfied with this box. Like I said, I bought a cheap box a few months ago and got nothing so it's nice to see some reasonable cards here.

I can't find a lot of info on the 1 of 1 in terms of what they eBay for. Guessing not a whole lot for this calibre of player?

Side note: I also bought this single for $40. At that price, I had to.

haha thanks. Funnily enough, the last cheap box I bought I bought 3 packets of crusade just to see what they were like and I got the same card

Do 1 of 1's sell for much? What exactly is a 1 of 1 anyway? They just printed 1 card with black text rather than silver?

Nice 1 of 1! A 1 of 1 is exactly that, only one of that card exist. Whereas that Dirk 44/49 that you pulled, 49 of them exist.

Nice hit... Yeah most 1 of 1,s are just a variation of the card as you stated black writing as opposed to silver! There are a few true 1 of 1,s out there where the whole card is different but not so much with all the new releases! But its a very sweet hit and there worth just depends on how many die hard collectors are after that player! Hope too see you bust some more stuff soon!

Yep that Kurt Is very nice. Just wish they could be creative and use a different image of him as that one has been used so many times.

Very nice. I was a big fan of Crusade, thought it was a very underrated product. The Crusade golds really pop in person. You should do ok with that 1/1, as I'm sure there's a Lakers fan who would love to add it to their collection.

What do you collect now hawkfandan? I just tried Crusade out. Don't mind it. Patches are a little plain so might try something different next.
