Haha - maybe the rule should be if there is not a fire involved you cant call it a fire sale.

yep as a seller it really chaffs my hole when you give them a price way below ebay (minus fees, exchange, discount etc.) then they turn around and ask for a further discount or "could you add this"
fortunately I can probably count on 2 fingers the amount of time it's happened to me on here in recent times and the deal/s never eventuated. well of course that's not counting @drob50 cos he likes to chaff my hole for fun
I already watched @ozballer23 's movie! You and I both know it wasn't me that "chaffed your hole"
obviously you was watching the wrong movie
I thought that was the reason they make you wear safety glasses when using 3D TVs????Watch out if you do. Might lose an eye.
There are some things in life that glasses can't even protect you from.I thought that was the reason they make you wear safety glasses when using 3D TVs????
"i can buy it cheaper on ebay"
That argument sh!ts me too, if you can buy it on ebay cheaper do it! What alot of people seem to not realise is that the majority of lower sale prices are due to sellers not sending to Aus so you can now factor in atleast another $20 for registered postage to Aus plus international bidders driving pricing up. Seems to me like everyone in this hobby wants something for nothing these days, stop being a bunch of tight arse whingers!

Sorry Norm my rant had nothing to do with your original blow up hahaWith that being said, I'd agree with that MOST of the time, but being a fire sale, wouldn't you as a buyer e
Expect it to be cheaper than ebay? otherwise what's the point? there are currently firesale thread with prices almost double some of ebay.
This is the truth @drob50 , it was proven on Mythbusters that a Pin can penetrate glass given enough thrustThere are some things in life that glasses can't even protect you from.
