Yeah chips are the go. I got my PS2 in Bali in late 2002 and it came chipped up (swaped a mate that lives over their one of my surfboards for a brand new one). Since then I have gotten a shit load of games, (i'm around 120 games (all bali disks) now & theres not much left thats decent when I go to indonesia). All up it's cost me about $200 for games and $150 in laser eye's (burnt out 3 and I'm nearly due for a new one again
