Feeling dejected and need an e hug

I honestly thought it wouldn't go over $500 I'd have probably bet the Dual logoman on it too!

that sucks balls!!!!!!!!

What a sweet looking card too!
Who knows, the other guy could have bid $10K..... ???

PS - Suck it up and go look at your Kemp/Payton logoman again princess!

I have missed some cards in my time and I completely understand the feeling!

However, every time I miss one, something else seems to turn up and I always end up with a better card!

Case in point, I was bidding on a MJ jersey auto, I got snipped, lost buy 50c!!!!

Later that night the exact same card came up but it was graded BGS 9.5, I messaged the seller(I knew him!) and got the card for the exact same price as the one I missed! True story!

With the global economy in the toilet I would expect to see a mass of rare PC cards entering the market, simply because this hobby is a luxury and no one seems to have spare money they had a few years ago....

Interesting times ahead!

The bowman atomics are probably my fave parallel of all time. But one with an auto :) Man that would have been sweet but that price is way overs if you ask me.

Yeah one of my favs too, that's the first one I've seen come up for sale in 3 years. Turns out the buyer was a Payton collector in China, guess he wanted it more than I did.

Sorry to hear, great looking card............ here's an e hug for you ( Glove and Allen Iverseone)

Lmao, that was the exact look on my face after the auction ended

You don't need a hug, you should be jumping up and down with joy for dodging an $800 bullet. You could put that money toward getting your teeth done to look like GP instead to show your true love of him

Sorry to hear, i hate it when some cards just seem to rocket up like that.
It's nice to see everyone basically sniped at the end - i hate when 2 bidders bid up something you want to bid on and keep raising expectations!

I was watching that as i was curious to see how much it would go for. I didn't think it'd go over $300.

Although what is the population on these cards?

From Becket:
Randomly inserted in packs at one in 3,358 for veterans

The next question is whether the other bidder actually pays or not?
Maybe you'll get a second chance offer?
Although if the bidder made a mistake at the death and helped expose your large safety bid (which is $400 more than the next person) getting a second chance at that offer would be infuriating.

Looking at the bid history - http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&_trksid=p2047675.l2565&rt=nc&item=291003124372

It was interesting that the ultimate winner seemed to put a bid on 5 minutes before at 310 and then 5 minutes later, right at the death, puts in +$880
That seems a bit odd and looks likely the bidder could've made a mistake right at the end? Typed an 8 first instead of a 5

I've spoken to the winning bidder, he's a GP collector in China. He obviously wasn't taking any chances after I put my bid in with about 30 seconds left. I should have snipped it but didn't trust the speed of 3G on my mobile.

You should get on an ebay sniping service!
Gixen is free. Fires off with about 6 seconds left. I think the paid ones can go even closer
