If I am correct, while there might be rare occasions (probably for very obvious cases), grading companies (at least BGS) generally don't grade the enclosed material on the card(s).

Correct, Beckett have confirmed they only grade the condition of the card/auto, and not if the patch is legit.

I am not sure if this one has been shared but if I was a betting man, I would say that the first one is real (have similar in my PC) but the 2nd is a bad fake... Could be wrong... can anyone confirm my suspicions

I have seen a few similar patches to the second one, I think Mayo was one from memory.
