People should get used to the fact Facebook is the way of communication in the 21st Century.
Some people may not like it but I'm sure people will become customed to it. Just like we did with TVs, DVDs, LCDs and Plasmas, E-mails and Mobile Phones.
I agree some people are obsessed and spend too much time on it. But when used sparingly it's great.

Me too. I rarely watch a 6 minute video for the whole 6 minutes, but this one kept me till the end and the music track fit perfectly. My teenage daughter is totally facebooked, and its makin hers and my life a misery. Free facebook on the mobile phone has has made it 100 x worse. I'd show her the vid,...but i'm sure that all i'll get back is ...ROFL, BTW IDC, FFS GAL. AFAIC EOD. booo to facebook, i hate u too.

Facebook is alright if you treat it as a gateway to your old school friends. It gets stupid when you start treating it as a life style liek some of my friends.
EG that new iphone **** called check in. You can use the GPS in your iphone to tell people were you currently are.
One of my mates said he was at Toyota Buying a new car.

I answered obviously a Toyota didn't you read lol.

Agreed he looks really hung out, I find it a great tool for keeping in touch with friends around Oz and for sharing pics of my son with family.
people put way too much thought into facebook... it's a communication tool, not a status symbol

Probably hit the nail on the head this video. I have 50 friends on facebook and I deleted about 250 that I either went to school with, worked with, WERE friends with or work with now. I don't talk to them once at work, and when I get home I have a friend request. Its rubbish. People I haven't seen for 20 years. I added them and realised I didn't care what they are doing now and didn't talk to them and then I deleted them.
Its OK in small doses, but alot of it is rubbish.

I actually wear glasses like this, mostly because they are super comfy and near impossible to damage.
That probably sums up my attitude to Facebook. While it certainly does have its fair share of dickheads who take it way too seriously, I've personally found it very good to keep in touch with my friends from high school that have moved away and as a good way to show and see photos of my extended family.
