mate I think you have some major nuts! There have been a few good advices in this thread... I think you should sign up with paypal and pay that way (better protection) or at least get someone you trust from ozcards and pay thru their paypal. Lastly... my advice is don't send your henchmen around after buying the box. Instead send someone from Adelaide to PICK UP from the local post office... pay the Adelaide dude thru direct deposit so he can pay cash? Another guy you gotta trust...
Umm hope my advice has helped you? I would definitely trust someone from this boards better than that guy!
No guts no glory! Good on ya if you do take the plunge but it is too dodgy for me!
Is it just me or has he put his BIN prices up twice in the past 24 hours?? Scott got his for $500....there was another for BIN $700. Then I checked yesterday the BIN was $800 and now it is $1000. He obviously didn't realise what he was selling....or what people are prepared to pay!!!

If they're trying to get out of the purchase cos it was cheap, they'll most likely "send" it but you won't receive it, get your money back, and they'll re-sell later on for the higher price?
I bet what happens now is scotty pays with paypal via credit card, and they say, oh it's gotta be a bank transfer payment, we can't accept funds from a credit card etc etc etc
Me - I wouldn't buy anything of someone with ZERO feedback, I am very "untrusting" with stuff like that. I have managed to no get riped (touch wood) on eBay yet and I put that down to being picky about who I buy from.
anyways keep us posted, if it comes through it could well be the deal of the year !
