Ex-NBA Players now playing in Chinese Basketball Association

All the Chinese teams have some serious money behind them. They even have former or fringe NBA players in their second tier division when they're vying for promotion.
Guys like Stephon Marbury for example not only get paid to play but also had his entire product line reintroduced by the companies sponsoring the team..... Not quite Air Jordans, but you can still get a pair of his shoes if you want them!

As for the league itself it is a bit of a run n gun league. The fans aren't that knowledgeable so it has to be a fun and entertaining product to watch. Skills are mostly guard focussed (not many legit big men who aren't imports) and the imports who are all there all want to put up big numbers too so it all encourages a small ball approach to ballin'. Playing solid D doesn't translate into stats, endorsements, sold out arenas or big $ contracts....
I've even seen Liz Camabage rack up 60 points and Lauren Jackson rack up a big game in the Chinese women's league too. Like I said earlier, some serious money floating around!
