ESP NRL Traders 2013 Sneak Peak UPDATED WITH NEW IMAGE

Honestly I have to admit that at first I was having a lot fun just joking around with the Titans, Eels and Cowboys Young Guns not being found yet but now as more and more of the same teams Young Guns are showing up I am starting to get legitimately concerned now!

I was very very very doubtful that there was ever a problem with these 3 Young Guns but I am starting to get very worried now! I mean there has been at least 50 Young Guns on ebay now and the odds that 3 certain teams have not come up once by now would usually be very unlikely.

If one has not been found by the end of this weekend, I will begin to make the horrible conclusion I don't want to make!

they will be sitting in the pile of untaken cases, if so they may never surface or they may have cocked up with them, who knows?

about time someone made a statement from ESP otherwise at this rate, they would be better off not producing anymore as who is going to have the confidence to buy any future stuff??

I hope a Parra one turns up just so #1 Eels Fan Dave can at least see it :)

probably someone sitting on them. just going to list one a week on ebay soon making a fortune on their lack of appearances

Well of all the cases that have come through my hands the highest numbered case was 567/1883. Perhaps it's just as simple as those players being inserted later in the production run. Will make them super rare (like the Tupou from early Select years) if that's the case...especially with sales slowly drying up the further into the year we get.

yup they had better send some higher number cases out then as replacements for anyone that sent theirs back due to damaged cards

then the theory will be at least tested

Wouldn't the cases be mixed around during the distribution process though or do they send them out in the exact order 1 through to 1883.

They are not in exact order. When i received multiples they do vary a little....but like i said, the highest number i have is 567 and that happens to be the newest case i received on Monday this week. All cases before that one were lower still.

Who else thinks ESP have held these cards back. I believe they have a lot of Representatives stock left and pretty much everyone who wanted the set has got it. So there is no reason for people to keep buying.
If they hold back the release of a few key cards they will still get some people buying packets, boxes etc. I know I bought some packs today and I only need a couple of parallels.
In my opinion this is just another deception of ESP's to add to the already long list.

If they are in the later cases that would mean that your best chance at getting one of them at the moment would be through a starter pack.

There's been confirmation this series (and the remaining ESP series for 2013) is going to be available in NZ through bookshops, service stations, dairies, supermarkets etc - that's bound to take a few cases out of Australia. If there's anything to this theory of the 3 missing young guns being in the 'back half' of the distribution, perhaps us Kiwis will nab them.
Going to be very interesting to see how they sell over here, the last series to be so readily available in NZ was Dynamic's first few series. Given how big the 91 Scanlens and 92 Regina were over here (though admittedly were priced right for kids) Traders could do okay. For some reason they're not available till late April, and I've already got a box from Warren on its way, but I'll probably bust a few packs out of fun and forlorn hope. It's been 17 years since I've been able to bust loose packs!
