True dat. Hope not though! Thinking about it further i reakon all ratios will be on an per packet level. If you remember 2004 Select had that sort of similar thing with retail boxes having 24 packs and hobby boxes having 36 packs. Ratios were still the same but were all based on per packet.
I tried to tackle the ratio question from another angle by asking about the production run numbers. That information is not available for release...........
One thing I'd like to know, is anyone else sick of parallels? ESP ones have been the most boring since they are not even different in design than the commons, just slightly shinier. I like having one per pack inserts but would prefer something along 09 classic and 06 where they had a six card subset per team that were different than a straight copy of the common cards.
Totally sick of them - particularly when the images are exactly the same. Complete waste of space. To me, their only value is that the few bucks I can get for selling 36 of these is likely more than I could from a spare base set. I'd like to see something like a representative set inserted 1 card per pack - but I'd imagine ESP will save origin/test cards for a separate release like last year's.
At this point, I haven't busted a box since Dynasty, so I'm still excited to have a crack at Traders, but I'm wary that my $140 may only net me 7 inserts (four being pictures of jerseys) and if I'm 'lucky' I'll get a retirement card for a player who was probably a borderline first grader.
Unless you pull a signature card, I fear this series could produce some major post-break blues. Some decent career stats on the backs of cards would soften the blow, but I'm not holding my breath.
Isn't it his fault for doing the pre sales though?? Surely he can't go back on it now. it's his fault for having a crack at guessing the prices so early right? and also the fact that he has probably had the opposite effect plenty of times before and gotten overs on his presales!
If it was me, I'd take the negative feedback any day of the week!
Personally I wouldn't give negative feedback if I'd bought one and he didn't supply it, though. He made a stupid mistake ... doesn't mean he should lose thousands of dollars.
Not taking any sides here, but another perspective to think about is if you bought cards at $80 thinking it was cheap and they came out worth $25, would you still pay for them??? I know I wouldn't...
