ESP Limited Edition Trading cards

Six cards for Knights fans, which is fair enough ... and 26 for Kiwi fans. :) Bring it on!

How many cases again? If there's 400 patch cards each then how many per case are we expecting?

Ok sports fans, here is some information on the odds

Parallel Cards 1:3 packs (60 in a case)

Signature Cards 1:60 packs (3 in a case)

Jersey Signature Cards 1:60 packs (3 in a case)

Redemption Cards for Game Balls 1:25,200 packs (that works out to an 840 case limited release).

Oh, and 3 Case Cards that are yet to be approved.

thoughts.............

Yeah that sounds about right Dave. If you make a comparison to Top Prospects they only make 300 of them.

Im thinking at $1,400 per case im not sure where the money is in it. I think i will also sit back and see what happens with these.

Another thought - I assume they must be using filler cards or the jersey cards will be pretty easy to pick out of a box.

Yes, each pack will have either a Jersey Card or a blank card the thickness of the jersey card..........would that mean then only 7 cards in a pack + the blank?

Ive pulled one patch/shirt card from a packet (Big Bang Theory) and the packet was the same thickness as every other packet, and it had the thicker patch card and one or two regular cards, this brought the thickness to standard, i assume thats how its usually done.

when u say signature cards does that include the dual sig aswell?

That is a good question, however the information I saw had no mention of the duel signature in so far as odds etc. If that is to be factored into the equation above then those numbers will off course change. Lets hope someone hears something soon with regards that card.

Almost a 50% chance of paying roughly $140 for a box and getting only commons and 6 parallel cards?

Ouch

The post-box break come-down is bad enough following Select's low-insert releases (06 Invincible comes to mind), but at least you still get a sig. NZ $200+ spent on a common set and a few parallels... I'd be reaching for the hard stuff...
Given the weak Kiwi dollar, shipping costs, the high risk of a bad box will likely outweigh the novelty factor of this release for me.

Yeah I will be giving a box a miss for this one too, for exactly the same reasons. Which is a shame, because I was looking forward to opening one or two.

Still looking forward to buying the cards individually, though.
