Just got another sneak peek through from Terry at ESP.

He also wanted us to share the following with our members:

  • RRP per packet for Elite 2015 is $8.99, there will be no starter packs this year as all the product has been consolidated into sealed boxes because the production run has not been increased on 2014.
  • The RRP of the Album is $29.99 it comes with an Album Card as per attached and plastic sleeves.
  • Distribution to newsagents will again happen this year, because of the limited nature of the product we have trimmed back the number of Newsagents selling the release in 2015, only the top performing 150 newsagents will offer the product for sale.
  • Newsagents can request an allocation of stock from NWS should they have customers requesting it. As soon as ESP has a confirmed list of the newsagent outlets we will provide this to you so people know where to buy single packs from at their local Newsagent.
  • Elite 2015 is very much a hobby market release, offering limited product in less newsagent outlets will hopefully ensure there is more to go around the wider hobby market.
  • Feedback and sales so far have surpassed our expectation, I expected ESP will be completely sold out shortly after the official release.

Looks nice :) I wonder what the base set looks like. My newsagent dude is asking about it to me and i said its out around 7 aug as he wants to get some as he gets bit of traffic

I am not a cowboys or eels fan but I agree a joint card would have been great.

But we get what we get.
 
I believe him not being in the NRL this year complicates that.

I'm sure that the reason the players on the Retirement cards in Traders make it in is because the release is signed off on before the new year.

That is also the problem with players finishing their careers in the ESL. No retirement card the following release (assuming ESP continue that set)

Although Matt Bowen had a Retirement card in 14 Traders and he went to the ESL

Could of had two cards one with each player to sell more folders. With Traders if you want a full set of album cards 18 folders need to be purchased when you only need about 2-3 folders for a full master set. With Elite you will still need about 2-3 folders but only 1 album card.
