Hi everyone
Just wondering if anyone else out there has had trouble with a seller on ebay called inter-cards bought item number 370133457951 on saturday 27/12/08 and payed for it on monday 29/12/08 first day banks were open.deposited it in to his bank account.I then sent him a message telling him that i had deposited the money into his account.Later that night i got a message from him saying thank you.On the 7/1/09 still had not recieved it so i sent him a message asking wether he had sent them yet his reply was that he had not posted them yet because he had no record of my payment. asked him why had he sent me a message saying thank you and his reply was he could not remember sending it.I had not left my ebay name or item number with the payment but the anz bank does not enter who has deposited the money anyway and i did put my real name on the deposit slip.13/1/09 still have not recieved item has anyone else had problems with this seller.

by memory, i think thats the store that charges $5 registered per card.......even if its only a $1 card. I understand its probably a knee-jerk reaction to having been burned by a paypal dispute, but for a $1 card.....no one wants to pay $6.
I think Nrl card stores on ebay have some of the poorest packing standards going around, ive bought off nearly everyone and "Hammo" is the only one ive been 100% happy with.
My only advice is always pay with paypal, coz its very much bias towards the buyer. Ive been burnt hard with a paypal dispute, however ive never needed to lodge one........and i was amazed at how easy that guy got his money back.
I've bought of him before and normally had to wait about one and a hlaf weeks to receive the card. The issue probably is that the transaction wasnt labelled with your username....he really does need to go back over his bank statement and confirm your payment. Also, you could send him a receipt of your transfer and it would make it easier for him to match it up.
I agree with Foldee too in that when i received cards from him they were enclosed between two sheets of paper, albeit slightly thicker than normal paper and wrapped in plastic. Not good enough. I also sell NRL cards through an eBay store and every single card gets sent out in a plastic sleeve and top loader with some extra cardboard on each side just to make sure as well as a bubble mailer. I wouldn't call my packing standards poor at all, should be the norm really.
Hi thanks for your answers but just to make it clear i emailed him when i deposited the money and he sent back an email saying thank you 9 days later says he cant remember sending a email back and have i paid.
And as for leaving my ebay user name on deposit slip would make know difference as the bank does not enter these details in just the amount.
Thanks again spottyroach.
Looks like I am about to be burnt by this ebay seller, I bought about 12 1988 rugby league cards of this guy over a week ago and paid immediately with PAYPAL, have not heard a thing from him.........now I am starting to get worried...........
Ive bought figurines off him before i believe, they came in great condition however he sent me the wrong player he did replace it though. Ive never bought cards from him so i wouldnt know much about it

I just wanna give my opinion on this one. When you emailed him and told him that you have paid, he probably replied and said "thank you" for paying. But it doesnt mean that he saw your payment in his acct already...
HI again
Lets get this straight I went to the bank anz deposited the money filled out deposit slip with my name on it. The money was in his account before i walked out of the bank goes in as soon as you deposit it.Went home emailed him.
Thanks spottyroach

Yeah im the same in leaving no feedback as apposed to negative. The Rugby League card world is so small and i would rather not cut ties with anyone........... you never no what they may have in the future.
I have a seller or 2 though, that have really ticked me off and it would take something pretty special for me to throw business their way again
FINALLY got my 1988 NRL cards from this guy, they game just in an envelope with a piece of cardboard protecting them............very unhappy, personally, i don't care what cards this fella has no more business from me.
