EBay Seller of the Month

Joel, seams like the oldest saying around since what do you want for that spear or skin.
when Glenn/goldcoast and Michael /diggaz, put cards up on there sites, they put there prices out there for a reason.
they go on ratios, number hits etc.
That in turn provides some stability to the card collecting business.
if we want a card and are prepared to shop with them, then thats what we pay.
Loyalty plays a part in this community as well, these dealers that sell to us are more likely to look after you with certain cards if you shop with them .
Ie if you want pay a stupid amount off ebay to get a card rather than shop with a dealer that has the card at fraction of ebay first prices. so be it.
There’s another saying , it’s not the fool that asks , but the fool who pays haha. Collectors still dictate prices with what some collectors are prepared to pay . Crazy times considering those /23 cards will be selling for $80 in 3 months

yep got ya,
a fool soon parts with there money,
theres heaps out there.
I thank my lucky stars I stopped when I did.

I presume they mean the toploader.
Card will be taped to some dodgy cardboard and posted.
Because a top loader costs all of what, 30 cents max?
Flogs.
Yeah I wonder if they'll even use a penny sleeve.

What is really confusing me is the price , 13 bids and currently $76 for what is a $15-$20 card

I feel like it's more people not realising it's not a real sig, seen a lot of people think the silvers are on card
I agree.

It does not help that these cards have "Authentic Series Signature" on them - almost false advertising for those not in the know. It should be obvious from the pic that the sig is foil and not pen though. The seller is going to end up with one unhappy buyer though!

Gonna have to add Ebay itself to this thread as they keep taking more and more in fees

$107 delivered and payment received of $92.36
$305 delivered and payment of $263.83

definitely going to be avoiding where i can
eBay getting real greedy along with the paypal issue . I think I’d rather sell cheaper on here to stop their cut .

13.5% is about right for what I've read of the new system that omits PayPal. Up from about 12.5% using the old fee structure including PayPal though.
a new topic, sorry.
I just received a card in the mail yesterday from an ebayer, in a penny sleeve against cardboard, in a padded envelope, arrived with no creases, thankgod..
But to top it off, they used ebay tracking, which is not auspost tracking.
So a note was written on the top by our general store, if this happens again, will will charge you the tracking costs before we can give the letter to you as it is parcel tracking and not letter tracking.

Just had a bad experience on Ebay where I won a Top Try card for $41. While I was out, got home 5 hours later to find an hour earlier the seller relisted the item at $100. On asking was told pay on time. This guy did the same thing before to another guy
twice. A few further messages had him calling me names, threating to sue Ebay, saying he's heard about me doing this before ( ??? not paying within 4 hours I guess) amongst other things. It's not like I've lost any money over this, but my integrity questioned really gets my gander up. Will Ebay care, as long as the fees are coming in I would say no.

Sometimes I get caught out on an auction with payday 4 days away and just message the seller and they always understand and wait for me to pay, guess it just depends who they are
