That guy is a fair dinkum moron, he thinks he is ebay's trading card god. i personally have not heard of "Type A" or a "Type B" as he describes them for that series. My guess is that he has left out a set of cards and they got hit with UV rays from day light then he has seen that and gone "wow they must be a differant type of release now i can list each single common for $99ea)
Even if he was right i wouldnt defend him
Does anyone know what odds are out there on these OR where on the card (front or back, right or left) that you make the differentiation between the 2. I had a look at my set and doubles and struggled to find any difference. What also made it difficult was the dark shading on the right of the card compared with light on the left
There are 2 type of cards in 2001. The difference being one card is grey & the other creamy white (which is most common) The reason for this is they used 2 types of cardboard when cards were produced. It is very easy to see the difference when cards are in a pile & you look at them side on. I got all of mine out of the Newsagents boxes I open last year that I bought in a bulk deal off an old trader. I opened 12 boxes & got 6 full sets & a heap of team sets & a heap of loose commons. I also know of a trader in QLD who sells complete grey sets for $100 each.
Wow. That was a good score George. Well done.
Yes it was one of my better ones. I have recently opened 30 boxes of traditional trying to find a Tupou
signature card & only scored a Justine Poore.
Just wait till 8088edge starts selling them without redemptions.
Kids not knowing what they had could account for some but 50%?
Maybe Wangy is sitting on them.
