Ebay and lost mail

Any help or advise guys. I find ebay confusing as hell.

I have sold 3x YG, 1 x LS to a guy. I paid over the counter at the post office for Registered mail, they stuck the tracking number on the receipt for me.

Then they failed to scan it in, and now 1.5 weeks later the cards still haven't turned up or been scanned in at the other end.

What happens with ebay in these cases? Anyone know?

If you have the receipt you will have to lodge a claim with aust post but no doubt ebay/paypal will find in buyers favour for their claim

thats happen to me recently with a registered item that i bought (sydney to sydney 10 days item had moved/arrived). I end up calling auspost (13 76 78) gave them the tracking number and a day later the parcel tracking was in transit. I would give them a call to see if they can track it, if not then as Rob mentioned you will need to put a claim in.

Tough one mate. As Rob said start with Aus Post, if it is there mistake they might come to the party.

Make sure you keep the buyer and if a case is opened, eBay up to date with the situation. This shows your honesty and transparency.

I've emailed the buyer a few times, as I noticed the tracking number didn't appear the next day. The same post office had failed to scan in before, but the item still showed up.

I'm hoping Brisbane to Sydney that it shows in the next day or so.

It finally turned up. Been stressful as hell!
