as i said before muggs u cant judge them until u have played both, it's impossible to do. Just have to settle for realising that the next 6 months will be for xbox' glory.. then when PS3 comes out it will be it's turn..

yeah, sports teams and video game consoles...the similarities are eery.

ok, seriously, id go with ps2. GTA series, resident evil 4, god of war, final fantasy X & X-2, metal gear series, devil may cry series etc etc, all awesome games.

xbox only has one game that i REALLY love and thats ninja gaiden, i bought a second hand xbox just for that game, its amazing. burnout 3 is pretty good, gets boring after a while though, halo was pretty good too, halo 2 was average.

I never knew there was a PS3 coming out soon! Can someone provide a good link for me please?
I have only played an Xbox once, so you can tell I'm a Playstation man through and through. Combined with surround sound, Playstation 2 is pretty good for most games, especially GT4 and some war games.
I'm predicting from what little I know that the new releases, they will be very big on graphics and sound as well as multiple features like linking to the net etc.

well thats the reason the ps3 has been delayed so long Jase; sony is trying to work out the kinks in its new blu-ray dvd format to incorporate it into the ps3. i dont know if the blu ray discs are even out yet, let alone burners for em.

Thanks for that Jez, haven't been reading up much on this new stuff because it will tempt me to buy, but last I heard about 6 months ago was that the blu-ray burners were supposed to be out in time for xmas 2005. That's obviously fallen through.

Ha It was the real deal. I sucked because I don't know the controls for Xbox that well and all the people walking by and stopping to watch made me nervous :roll: but all in all the gameplay was good. It looks pretty smooth.
