Displaying your collection in your home

Reckon mat_m is the winner ... exactly the look I had in mind. But how do you get a picture frame with enough depth to fit shelves ... can't say that I've noticed any in shops that would work like that.

I'm loving the cheers for the frame.
Unfortunately it's not mine.

All it is is a shadow box frame.
If you want one go to a framing shop and they can make something like it.

It is the same sort of frame used for framing footy jumbers and the like just not as deep.

I was thinking of making one by adding depth/spacer to a frame I already have and puttting a new back on it.

I always think it's a great idea to display your collection. I for one have an entire room dedicated to my Larry Johnson collection. I need one twice the size I have and will be getting it, as I'm building a new house this year. I have two different glass display cases and transformed my closet into a shelves with lights for another display case...here are some pictures for those who haven't seen my room:

I think a frame like matm's would be the perfect way to show off the complete set of 2000/01 Autographics....hmmmm need to talk to my friendly framer!!

Thanks guys!! That's not even all my stuff as I still have tons of things I need to display game used/auto'ed jersey's, shorts, warm up shirts, shoes several other posters, etc...

I was in Beckett as Super Collector 2 years ago...I really am L J's biggest fan!

Just a bit of a bump to find out if anyone has anything new, particularly pictures, to add to this.

I am currently waiting for my picture-framer to come up with the goods on a frame/cabinet very similar to those you see jersey's displayed in, in sports memorabilia shops. It will have shelves with custom sized grooves in that will hold screwdowns upright etc. Looking the fill one for each player I collect - each one should hold around 40-50 cards. Will post pictures when I get it.

I have been meaning to get into some shop-fittings store to check out cabinets, as well ...

Anyone else???
