i think auctions can be cancel as long as there's 12 hrs left in the auction. doesnt matter if there are bids on it or not. sucks though

I'd definitely include that information when you contact eBay.

I would also mention how they are circumventing eBay possible fees, and ruining the trust you have in eBay auctions!!!

That should get them thinking about heir pockets ($$$).
