Yer, i saw the name change...i still drive by there sometimes on Newbridge Road. I was working at LG at the time weekdays and Pirelli on Weekends and night shift. Sometimes i'd work all day Friday at LG then drive straight to Pirelli and do a 6pm-6am shift....i was smashing myself back then.

Do we know each other? I worked on Night Shift too but did 7:00 p.m to 7:00 a.m, and worked 7 days a week, I ran Machine 202-2 and 202-10 With Tanni, where they made the 42,000 pair cable, It was the biggest Machine in the place.
He has refunded me less P&P both ways but I seriously do not trust this seller. He admitted the damage you see was there whilst he was selling it. The card was listed as new, undamaged etc. Pic was a poorly pixulated scan, but I think I can make out the damage in original listing now I look super closely. No mention of the peel in the listing.
Then, he (or whoever packaged the card) sent it as you see in the pic above, with tape holding the card/sleeve/toploader to some cardboard packaging, the tape running over the peeled portion of the card. Like WTF, doing this masked the peel but would be seen once untaped, obviously just trying it on passing on the peel blame or whatever. Then this afternoon, he emailed me and said "the card to me looks okay, you cant expect perfection from cards out of packets" my reply was polite but completely opposite to his BS comment.
So the question is, Im out of pocket $2.50 original P&P plus the return P&P to him. Do I cop it sweet & move on, or insist for a full reimbursement since I was mislead on purpose. I mean why the hell should I be out of pocket. And do I leave neg feedback on eBay and name and shame here on OCT. I am actually really pissed off over what happended.
Like i said originally, i can't believe a large online seller would do that. I'm paranoid about the quality of my cards before i put them online for sale....i sent a stack back to Select for replacement. I always look at the card and think to myself, "would i be satisfied with the quality of this card if i had of payed someone on ebay for it myself" If the answer is no, i send it back to Select if it came out of a packet. If i got it in a trade or sale i'll usually throw it in the bin.
i have had a similar problem with scratched Silver Parallel cards
also in 2 pkt"s i received these plain white cards and in another pkt i got one with a pink border, all 3 came out of 3 different boxes and 2 boxes only contained 5 all star cards
i also have had to contact select about this problem and ask for replacements
i agree the postage costs would be better spent elsewhere.
