Yeah it's a great game, full of ebbs and flows. Can't wait for the next Ashes series , not to mention the World Cup. Australia will win it I reckon.

Yeah next year is gonna be a ripper! World Cup and Ashes! I honestly don't know who I think will win the World Cup, the rankings are so close at the moment. Hopefully the home country advantage will be enough for the Aussies to win it.

Yeah Australia is the team to beat. I'll be barracking for Australia & England. Don't think England will win. Turning my attention to the EPL , talk soon buddy.

I'd almost completely forgotten about this thread! But I thought it might be a good time to bump it, because on Sunday I'm umpiring my biggest match to date...on the WACA!

It's just an Under-17 Twenty20 game (the two best U17 club teams from Perth) but I'm so excited to be umpiring on the WACA Ground. It's going to be an awesome experience

I play 4th Grade. I 'volunteer' to stand at square leg, hence why opening the batting and staying in as long as possible has been a god send for me this year - there's no way in hell I want to ump. Take's braver souls than I.

I have umpired a few finals & can be a hard slog under pressure to get it right, however I enjoy it & it keeps you involved in the game. In your case, gets you onto the WACA woo hoo for you!
