Hey Guys,

Tomorrow morning, Sachin Tendulkar and Shane Warne are playing in an exhibition match live from New York. There will also be games in Houston on the 11th November and LA on the 14th November.

The Warne Warriors and the Sachin Blasters are attempting to bring cricket to the USA and are doing so by bringing a star-studded line up of retired cricketers featuring Wasim Akram, Curtly Ambrose, Courtney Walsh, Matthew Hayden, Brian Lara, Ricky Ponting, Jaques Kallis, Kumar Sangakarra plus many more. The teams are listed below:

Warne's Warriors: Shane Warne, Matthew Hayden, Ricky Ponting, Michael Vaughn, Jonty Rhodes, Jacques Kallis, Andrew Symonds, Kumar Sangakkara, Saqlain Mushtaq, Daniel Vettori, Courtney Walsh, Wasim Akram, Allan Donald and Ajit Agarkar.

Tendulkar's Blasters: Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, VVS Laxman, Brian Lara, Saurav Ganguly, Mahela Jayawardene, Carl Hooper, Moin Khan, Muttiah Murlitharan, Graeme Swann, Curtly Ambrose, Shaun Pollock, Lance Klusener, Shoaib Akhtar and Glenn McGrath.

The games will be broadcasted on Gem with the first game on tomorrow morning at 4:30AM

4am for us South Aussies!!

I'm not sure about the concept of bringing older legends who might no longer have the firepower that they used to though, I think it would have been more influential if the teams were younger, up and coming players, but it should still be good to watch!

Well as Ian Healy just said... Watching 22 of the greatest test players of all time is pretty cool... No matter what happens it would be an amazing atmosphere and Shane Warne said that there are going to be cheerleaders and acrobats all around the ground.
 
Feels a bit weird watching it on a baseball field.

Agreed, that is the first thing I noticed when watching the match.

I have to admit, it would be pretty cool, definitely shows the Americans what Cricket is like compared to Baseball!
