I don't think Franklin could have done a lot more - 4 goals in a Grand Final is a pretty fair performance, with Tippett and Reid not in the game a lot he was bashed and crashed.....and even kissed of course!

I read that the Swans average age was 30.21 and the Hawks 26.49 - A good sign as a Hawks fan!

As a swans fan that was there and had to sit through the game it was easy see from an early stage that the swans had just sent there jumpers out with nobody inside them and it was hard to watch.

I do wonder though if some people here actually watched the game because the comments about Buddy are ridiculous, he was one of our best along with Kennedy. Yes there were a lot of players that were awful, especially our younger players but the day got to them.

@Matt26 is correct, hawthorn would have beaten anyone last Saturday.

I can now look back and appreciate what I saw from hawthorn in an overall flawless football display, I just couldn't when it was happening because I was in deep depression.

If anyone owes us it. Is Tippett , did not really do much all year.

Time for Reid to bulk up and become a key defender I think.
