Thurmond was a C I'm pretty sure

i seen he played his career as a C and PF (when he played next to Wilt) it shows him as a PF/C in Wiki & also when i look at websites. He's listed as both PF/C.
nice pick man! god i wish he played longer.

Geez there are a lot of picky people when it comes to position named. I know the rules state where they played the majority of their career but a little movement should be allowed IMO.
For example, Tim Duncan. Could have played starting C for most teams when drafted, but when put next to Dave Robinson, of course he will play PF.

i agree with you but the rule is in place, i see my choice as correct simply because he is posted as a PF/C on wiki and other sites i have searched. If @nichj99 says i cannot then fine with me. Your right that Duncan could have been an amazing C.

Agreed although even that becomes hard with them. Take James Worthy for example. At the top it lists him as both a SF and PF. But if you look at his yearly stats, it shows him as a SF for the majority of his career except one season.
This will be an argument am sure we will go on about for ages.

To keep it cut and dry, use www.basketball-reference.com/ and if they don't appear as having played that position for at least one season, then you can't use them there. I can't see why people are moving players to other positions anyway, we aren't at the end of the draft...
