Competition! Pls Help Me set up...

Hi All,

I would like to run a competition for ALL Aussie/Kiwi members and was thinking of doing it when the last four teams (conference finalist) are known...

Maybe about 10 answers which means I need 10 guesses for the members to do.
For example:
1. Which teams will get to the finals?
2. Who will be the Finals MVP?
3. Who will score the most Points in the Finals?
4. Who will have the most Turnovers in the finals?
Something like that...

Any idea/suggestion that you can think of is welcome as I have never run a competition like this... If you have any idea on how to count the points and maybe a tie breaker in case of a tie or anything, just let me know by posting in this thread...

Please help me set this up and I would give away some nice cards and holders to the winner... I will post the prize before we start an official thread for the competition!

Geesh you need to make it harder than that mate

First question brings up less possibilities than the others so it should count for less points if you are doing that system.

Hmmmm...... having that many variables makes it a bit complicated.... like the bottom 3 questions would have a lot of 'qualified' entries if we knew who for certain was going to be in the finals, but if someone gets them wrong than their next 3 questions will likely be wrong guesses as well. This will limit the qualifiers a lot.....

As for tie-breaker..... a good one for that is guessing the total combined score of the final game.

I have been thinking about it. There could be lots of wrong guesses if I do the 4 teams so I might just use the 2 Finalist... Thanks for your input...

Chad's guesses could all be wrong even before the whole competition starts.

I think your example questions are on track. Statistical type guesses would probably be fun.

Most points, rebounds, assists, turnovers, steals, blocks, etc, as well as which team will win and how many games (eg: 4-1).

Yeah, I am leaning towards the Numbers/Stats...
