COMC Mailbox Thread

You'll just need to modify the top line a little to read 'COMC.comMailbox c/o (your username here)' (i.e. if your username is Andy_T it would read COMC.comMailbox c/o Andy_T). That way the COMC team knows the cards are to be added to your mailbox for processing.

Does this look ok for my eBay set up for it

Hey gang, let me jump in here really quick, just to clarify some things:

If you're having cards sent from a 3rd party source (like eBay) to COMC, then you're going to want to use the Mailbox, and the ship to: address should have your COMC username attached to it, so we know which account the cards are attached to.

If you have the cards in your hand and are looking to send them to us, to be deposited into your own portfolio, do not use the Mailbox - use the submission wizard on the website, and send them to us directly. It's the same address, but don't put the "mailbox" notation on the shipping label. That isn't necessary if you're sending in cards for yourself.

As always, please let me know if I can help out.

Hey @Moe@COMC - just a quick question for you.

I know there's been heaps of chatter about the process of taking / keeping one touches etc. I'm currently looking to empty my mailbox once these last half a dozen cards arrive (I have about 100 in there at the moment) and there's a card or two that arrived in a top loader but would love to upgrade to a one touch. Is this at all possible (like how we can elect to add a top loader to items we purchase)? Would save a heap of hassle getting hold of the right sizes locally!

ok just made my first purchase on COMC and it happens to be the un numbered Joe Ingles Auto (yay have them all now) now i would like to test the submit to grading option so see how it works before i send my jordan and bird to COMC for grading
@Moe@COMC could you please provided me some information or tips on the process as its all new to me

Cheers

It's pretty straight forward mate. Once it's in your inventory hit the menu on the item on the far right in your inventory manager, click submit for grading then BGS and follow the prompts!

Hi! Sorry, but that's a service we don't provide...we do toploaders, but that's it.

@Moe@COMC , Grindnation@COMC here i have a few cards being delivered, my understanding is that i can store them there for "only up to a month?" before i need to request for a delivery to my Australian address?.
I have tried to find the answer's myself but have a hard time with all of this.
I basically only want COMC to store my cards and i believe i flag a card as "not for sale" to have them stored until i check out for all of them?
Regards.

I've been building my mailbox for 10 weeks, hope that helps answer your question :)

@nichj99 haha ok that makes me feel alot better, so we just pay $1 per card that get's "stored" their and then pay delivery+ any misc fee's for checking out ?
Any better understanding would help me alot mate. Also as i said do we just put a card as "not for sale" to make sure nothing happens to it ?.

The first part - that's correct with fees etc

Second part - once the card is processed you will get a little notification asking what to do with it. It won't become listed for sale unless you specify a price you want for it. Otherwise just click add to shipment of you intend to ship it home.

It's all very self explanatory if you need any more help let me know.

@Moe@COMC are there any plans in the future to add one-touches? Could be something very worth while, COMC makes a few bucks on the holders, and customers/collectors can get that special card in a firm holder for safe keeping and safe travels.

For us, it's a matter of space - we just don't have the room for all kinds of supplies, outside the ones we use on a regular basis for business purposes. It would be awesome to provide such things, but I don't see it happening anytime soon.

Let me jump in; whoever said "one month" was talking out the wrong side of their beer cozy...you can store cards here as long as you need, until you're ready to have them shipped and there are no "storage fees" or anything for that. Mailbox cards are automatically marked as "ready to ship" when they're deposited into your account, so there's no thought to it. If they're here for a week or a year, it's all good.

(and, I know that last part rhymed a little...I don't care, I'm not changing it)
