COMC Mailbox Thread

I'm just now getting reports about this; I've alerted the server/IT team, but I don't have a timeframe, except as soon as possible. Sorry about this.

It was you who got the Boozer National Treasures card from me? :)

Hey @Moe@COMC
In regards to redemptions are you guys able to request a replacement for us for the ones sent to our mailbox?

You can request a redemption to be scratched and redeemed, via the Inventory Manager. Just go to your Inventory Manager, choose "Submit for grading" via the Actions dropdown menu, then choose the COMC Condition Review (the review team also handle redemptions) and they'll start the process for you. There is a $2 fee, but that also covers scanning and depositing the new card, when we receive it from the manufacturer.

Hey Moe,
I had a redemption delivered to my mailbox last year and you guys redeemed it but I still haven't seen it can you ask for replacement

@Moe@COMC I've have just received a mailbox submission email, one of the cards is a redemption, is there any way to not have it redeemed with comc & kept in my inventory manager unscratched ?

Hi, You can keep it in your inventory unscratched, but you won't be able to consign it, either.

Just curious on that one Moe, does that mean you can't keep an un-redeemed card for sale later?

ie, say someone either purchased via ebay, or participated in a group break and received a redemption, could they receive it via COMC mailbox, and then sell-on later as an un-redeemed card?

We don't sell un-redeemed cards, because they have an expiry date. We wouldn't want to sell a card to someone that was worthless, because it had expired.

Hi,

Had a couple of cards recently arrive that had damage on them from ebay, how would I return the card to seller to retain a refund for them?

Both of them I even had a condtion report done by COMC grading.

Can you let me know what Excellent-Mint means?? As its a huge difference.

Thanks

Brett

Hi,

Thanks for the message - you;d have to request a shipment and have the cards sent back to the eBay seller. And, you can have the eBay seller include your shipping fees as part of the refund.

And, we use the industry standard terminology when it comes to the COMC Condition Review. The Review is based on the observations of the Review team, so there's always a range given to the card, and this means that the card would be somewhere within the Excellent-Mint range. It'd be great of it was a little more specific, but that't not what the COMC review does. it's just to give you an idea of the card's condition, it's not meant to be precise.

Thanks @Moe@COMC for the reply. What shipping method do I need to use to send back to ebay? And I just change my shipping details and put in his???

Thanks

Brett
