Yep so create an account with COMC. Then use the comc postal address with "C/O ozballer23" (eg only)
Once COMC recieves mail addressed to you, they open it, photograph it and send it to you for confirmation.
With the new changes you let them know when you want them processed, and it is added to your account for $1 each (no minimum cost so you can do this as they roll in really)
Once processed they are added to your COMC inventory where you can choose to list it on their site for resale or ship it home to yourself instead.
Pretty easy!
Awesome.
So do the pics go to your email
&
Do you need to have to change your ebay address to the comc one?
&
Do you need store credit for fees etc?
Yep - photos to your email. Ebay address to COMC when your bidding or hitting BIN so that it calculates the postage correctly.
They'll charge your account and you'll just be in the negative if you dont have credit, and you'll need to pop some into your account in order to send it home
Yes, you use store credit.
And to make offers on other cards on the site, you need to have sufficient credit and once the offer is made, that ammount is held until the offer is either accepted, declined or countered.
I think you and I could almost get spokesperson status for COMC by now!
Postage to COMC takes approx 3-5 days once the seller sends it out. Within 48 hours of it arriving you'll get your photo. After Jan 20th processing will be $1 per card with 3 days to add it into your inventory. Before the 20th the rate is $0.50 each with a $5 minimum.
They can hold it Indefinatley. Most people wait till there's multiple cards to send home at once. Add $3.00 + $0.25 for each mailbox item (no extra cost for stuff purchased on their site) to post home for the slowest method. Given that your Melbourne like me, postage time on slow takes approx 7-15 working days, normally around 9-11 however.
When it arrives, you get an email showing the packet and what was in it. The email will ask you what type of processing you would like.. Now depending on whether or not it hits the mailbox by the 20th Jan, the email might change.
Either way, you don't have to do anything until the card/email arrives.
Its really up to you whether you want to wait or ship it straight away. an here-in lies the trap.. hahah
I always say to myself, after this next card arrives.. then I'll get it shipped.. then I'll buy something else awesome on feebay and then tell myself I'll wait a bit longer till I receive that one and it gets processed.. and on and on and so forth..
I have usually just been getting one shipment a month.
Thanks guys. So what does the postage cost on top of the processing fees?
Minimum is $3.00 then its +0.25c for cards sent in penny sleeves (toploader is 0.20 extra)
You have the option to send with or without penny sleeves.
It costs $1 (I think) to send things in one-touches or hard-cases.
There are multiple choices for shipping depending on how fast you want it. I'm not sure if this is going to change with the new price change effective on the 20th Jan.
Just wondering why my items have already been allocated for 1 week processing? I was under the impression the $1 per card processing fee was to take into effect February 1st? It is only the 18th in Australia and 17th in the U.S!
