COMC Mailbox Thread

I could be wrong but I thought there was 6 options on my last shipment? Middle column bottom row is my best choice. 10 delivery, tracking & shipped within 24 hours. My understanding is it goes
1 - lowest cost, slower delivery rate (3 weeks) no tracking
2 - same method as above except COMC lodge the delivery & send within 24 hours
3 - tracking on option one
4 - tracking on option 2

Then the remainder would be airmail priority delivery services or similar?

Ive just received my first shipment of 3 months of mailbox pickups. 193 items, shipping requested 31/8, shipped on 4/9 and arrived (carded by Auspost even though I was home, grr) yesterday the 17th. I chose standard shipment which cost $40.

Couldnt be happier with this service, now I have an absolute mountain of long wanted cards to sort through!

A few of the highlights (of many) are here:

My first batch "is being processed" after 1 month now

Once items are added to your account do you request shipping, or should i request shipping now?

Also, can you build up a number batches/months supply before requesting to ship them?

You can ship when ever you like and can do so via your dashboard :)

Once items are added to your account, you have to take action on each item in your inventory. either select 'add to shipment' or add a price and sell them on the site. I usually let two months worth build up before shipping.

Ive seen that some members suggested changing your postal address in ebay to the comc mailbox.

Is this the only way for your postage costs to show up as local? Therefore being the cheaper option?

Id rather keep my Aust address in eBay because the Mrs uses eBay as much as I do and I dont think she'd remember to change the postal address every time.

I dont want COMC to get a delivery of kids clothes or something...

Anyone had success not changing their eBay postal address?

Yeah if bidding on a computer select the shipping tab and enter the COMC zip code and it will calculate it for you on a per item basis

So youre saying that I can keep my Aust address as primary, add comc as a secondary address and when I check out, I just select that address?

Is this done in ebay or paypal?

So I added secondary address on ebay fine. But I thought I'd add the COMC address to my paypal too, so it comes through on purchase as well.

But Paypal will only let me add an australian address.

I'm worried that some people might send to the wrong place.

Anyone had issues with that?

When you make a purchase on eBay, select your ComC address and it will automatically add it to PayPal

Hi! For the moment, the Mailbox is only accepting cards...When we get the processes for "Beta test" items like magazines and programs worked out, then we'll look at taking those items in via the Mailbox service.

I just wish I had a timeline to share with everyone, but it may not be until sometime until 2014...at best. Thanks!

As a follow up on the mail delivery times; I've copied the scan history in here.
I chose 'Rapid' delivery for USD $27.99 (134 items)
17 days door to door. Not bad.

Kemp arrived safely then I'm guessing  Hopefully mine can arrive that quick to get here in time for the trade day!

I just had a heap of cards arrive which look like they had been through a hot press.

Cards were sticking to the card sleeve, gold standard metal 11/12 rc card was completely warped and you couldnt tell who the player was.

Anyone had any problems with their recent order? My last few were fine.
