I bought a sealed box of 04-05 Ultimate from Sonny (southernhemisphere) about 2 weeks ago and many of the cards were damaged. Some were bent, others had substantial chipping... It is quite possible that the cards were damaged in processing/packaging. Pretty pathetic for a premium brand. If I could be fked (which I can't), I would write an email to Upper Deck and send the cards back to them. 100% chance that they would replace them with fresh packs (and probably a little extra for my trouble).

In the time you spent posting on this forum, you could have written out emails to the relevant companies and trotted off to the post office

But you're right, I've seen plenty of cards from boxes with bung corners, but not like this, bent in half...

im gonna take it to them on my lunch break today didnt get a chance to do it last night after work ill keep you guys posted..

I know there cards were expensive but i just had that urge to get some packs but i wont buy cards from them again but ill prob still buy merch (shoes\clothes) from there as i dont really like buying clothes and shoes off ebay.. ill keep you posted

I took the cards back again and they gave me my money back so im happy with that but i had to rant and rave to get it back.

nah i aint buying packs from them again 1) because of what happend and 2) because there over priced if i have a urge to bust some packs ill just have to buy a box instead...

yeah ive bought from kickz a few times. but yeah when i got some topps chrome packs all the cards were bent aswell. i personally wouldnt buy there again, their prices for packs are a joke, $24 for a pack of reflections
under their old mangement i had no problems with my cards or basketball orders but the ones that run it now are wankers, well two of em are 'fat asian and a guy that tries to look like usher'
