Cards from Kickz

I just brought 2 packs of cards from Kickz101 a pack of 0405 Sp auth and 0405 Topps Chrome and when i opened the cards they were bent big time (in both packs) just wondering if anyone else has brought dodgy packs from kickz. That was the first and last time i buy cards from them lucky i didnt get anything good but imagin if i did they would be wrecked.

Oooohhhh...bad form right there!! I think damaged goods would be their problem under the trade regulations....

Were the packs bent or could you tell the cards were bent before you opened the pack??

im gonna go there after work and let them know.. i dunno who the boss is so it could of been anyone... imagin if i got a lebron auto they would have to give me something dam good.. Thanks guy thats an awesome idea

i felt a bump in them but i didnt think they were bent. I thought i had something good in them because of the bump

Thats realy a crapy effort from kickz ive bought lots of packs from them befor but never had bent cards. I think the owner/manager is a large older dude whos balding he seems fairly decent so if u see him talk to him. For the steep prices they charge for there packs that is horrible im sure they could afford to replace them but with what? more bent packs LOL!

Thats sucks mate i hope they sort it out for you. And im sure alot of people here would agree $18 is a fair bit to pay to get a heap of damaged cards that you can never sell or trade.

Don't be too hasty.

I bought a sealed box of 04-05 Ultimate from Sonny (southernhemisphere) about 2 weeks ago and many of the cards were damaged. Some were bent, others had substantial chipping... It is quite possible that the cards were damaged in processing/packaging. Pretty pathetic for a premium brand. If I could be fked (which I can't), I would write an email to Upper Deck and send the cards back to them. 100% chance that they would replace them with fresh packs (and probably a little extra for my trouble).

In the time you spent posting on this forum, you could have written out emails to the relevant companies and trotted off to the post office

No way man! You should complain, $18 isn't a small amount of money at all and if they sold you the packs it's THEIR duty to make sure they are in good nick.

What if I sold you a collared shirt in a plastic protection and when you opened it it had a massive tear, wouldn't that be the sellers fault and a refund would be in order?

yeah ive bought from kickz a few times. but yeah when i got some topps chrome packs all the cards were bent aswell. i personally wouldnt buy there again, their prices for packs are a joke, $24 for a pack of reflections
under their old mangement i had no problems with my cards or basketball orders but the ones that run it now are wankers, well two of em are 'fat asian and a guy that tries to look like usher'
