Not getting too carried away with a win over an understrength but overachieving eels side but maybe this is the turning point.
Anyone remember 2006?
And any side with Thurston can't be written off.

Look at our spine which many say is the most important part to a footy side Gordon, gutherson, Robson and degois. Hardly would set fear into an opposition side.

You still had Oates, Boyd, thaiday' McGuire, Parker, Gillett who played origin this year in your side.

Was a bit disappointing from eels part that was the only game this year we have been blown away in

Yeah is a bit ordinary when you look at them

But the effort every week besides last night has been top notch even when we have lost

I suppose you are only as good as your depth. Problem is if you develop good depth players they get snavelled by other clubs.

A win is a win at this time of year. Donks still scrappy but they just have to make the finals and their experience should kick in

It's funny cos it's true!

In hindsight losing the Milf, as good as he was a blessing. We would not have been able to afford Sezer, Austin or Hodgson and even the Milf couldn't carry a side like that!

I would say solid first graders with potential to become world class. IMO world class refers to the Elite players of our game, JT, Cam Smith etc

From our cap compliant side we are without radradra, takairangi, Norman, Foran and Scott for a variety of reasons.

Think they are or were fairly critical to our success
