Bronco's/Raiders or Rabbits?

So are the Dragons resting anyone this week Hobo? :D
Souths have got a couple of get outs this weekend, would be nice to see Canberra and or Manly lose (preferably both so we jump 8th) before the Souths game sunday night. It'll make for an entertaining game thats for sure.

Yeah the Sunday night has the potential to be a real cracker or a fizzer. If Souths have no chance because Canberra win then, who knows....

They've named an 8 man bench so it looks like players being rested is a big possibility. I hope they give Priddis another run, feel sorry for him after the season he put in.

8 man bench......

I personally don't think Priddis is much chance to play, but I know he can do the job if his chance comes around again, it's is just Fien is a much better option for us IMO.

What we lack is a prop at the moment Costigan is hard but too small for the 1st / 2nd hit up of a set...you watch he is regularly being dominated in the ruck.

Dragons are chokers, they will lose whoever they play week 1. Probably lose the week after too.

Ahhh.... Justin I was wondering how long it would take.

We all know you passionate dislike of St George (big brother syndrome) but the constant dishing out of the chokers tag is as bad if not worse than the St George spam rubbish you also carry on about so much.

Yes St George have had a lot of success without winning many GF's recently and blown some great chances, chokers.....well I suppose it's more just a case of tall poppy syndrome.

Talking of finals records the Sharks don't have a very good finals footy record as this extract from Cronulla Sharks - RL1908.com

People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones....;)

Ahh but you seem to be forgetting the 1978 Amco cup......I know its a stretch but im claiming it

Yeah it's a call but I wouldn't call it huge........granted we've lost twice to the Raiders; once when we had 7 out for state of origin and the other in Canberra when, last minute, Bennett rested a couple of key players.......Sudden death at Kogarah is a whole differrent ball game. ;)

I think the Raiders have a much big hurdle to overcome......Brisbane in Brisbane isn't any guarantee.

The Knights had something to play for on Saturday night.....a slim chance of finals footy, in fact it was a do or die game for them, it was also their traditional old boys reunion (last home game of the season) a game that they had only once lost out the previous 12.....and given the referee(s) was helping them all they could it was a pretty solid result for the Dragons.

Cheers
Ross

Yeh they have only lost that game 5 times in 22 years, now 6 in 23.

I use to love Wednesday nights as a kid growing up..........4 quarter footy with QRL and CRL teams.

Nice picture as well:two Cronulla Immortals.....=D>

Don't forget the The Endeavour Cup (1971) as well......what was that?

Just read a Bennett quote re; Priddis who officially announced his retirement today.

“The last couple of weeks have been tough for me not being able to find a spot for him but Luke's work ethic has not diminished and I'm elated that he will play in the final home game of the regular season this week."

So he plays...???

Now just need Manly to lose to the Dogs and Rabbits to upset the Dragons and Souths will take Manly's spot in the 8 :) Long shot but i'd love to see Manly miss the 8.

most likely will happen, they have been robbed all year

shut up...............and I mean that in the nicest possible way..............:)

I was at the game last night. We were celebrating in one of the members bars and we ended up being the last ones out of the stadium (not one of the last - THE last). Funny, not too many Broncos fans celebrating around us.

Roosters/Titans Grand Final

Geez, that's a long shot also. After watching the Titans struggle to beat the Tigers by 3 at home last night i don't see them winning 3 semi final games. They were missing Bailey and Campbell, Tigers were missing McKinnon, Lawrence, Fulton, Gibbs, Skando, Daniela not to mention long term injuries of Tuiaki and Moltzen. Hell, Tigers even played a green fullback who had a whole 3 minutes of NRL experience AND let Daniel Fitzhenry (the leading causer of baldness amongst Tigers supportors) onto the field. I just can't see them making it to the Grand Final but feel free to quote this and flaunt it in my face in 4 weeks should some pigs out there decide to grow some wings and fly :p

.......and the Roosters played like "busted ar$e$ to just beat NQ, hardly GF material IMO.

Panthers will give it a fair crack i reckon. With a few more players back on board, Civoniceva, Coote, Walsh. Admittedly there bad games are BAD, but there good games are Great. I have been to there last 6 home games, and there is definatley potential there. If it all click into place, they will be a force.

NO WAYY. We need lewis and petero. as for coote and walsh i was hoping someone would stomp on walsh's foot (keep him out for longer) as for coote, i dont mind him, but gordon is playing outstanding at fullback.

So im guessing Dragons/Tigers Grand Final then? hahahaha and so on
Dragons have an easy first round, but i wouldnt really be that suprised if the underdogs won the other 3 games. Really open finals series, should be a good one.
The first 3 games should be crackers, the 4th one a snooze.

Im glad you enjoyed the game Graham it was great. Its good to be green :)

Yer, Dragons almost have a bye this week with Manly being woeful recently and also hit with injuries/suspensions. The other games are very much up in the air.

Panthers Vs Dragons GF?
Panthers Vs Tigers GF?
Panthers Vs Warriors GF?

Bias Much lol?

Hopefully your team is looking at this weekend rather than looking so far ahead.

It wasn't so long ago your team choked on a 14 point half time lead against the guys in green. Would really hate for something like to happen again.

Or let's not forget the 74-12 pumping from late 2008.
