Sunshine, blue skies and a little windy where I am right now. However, it's predicted to cross straight over the top of us tomorrow morning, soooo ......
100km/h + winds for 12 hours Saturday night. 350,000 without power at its peak and we somehow only lost power for 8 hours on Saturday morning. A friend of mine won't have power back until next Saturday. If that's a sub category 1 you Nth Qld people can keep your fucking cyclones. I'm out.
Now it's flooding everywhere.
All in all, a pretty standard weekend.
I'm actually exhausted and we were pretty lucky with really no damage whatsoever. Can't even think how the people who have had the wind rain and flooding would be feeling.
I've been out and about with work today, I'll try and post some pics tomorrow.

Last week they were forecasting we would cop up to 80mm rain a few of the days then it shifted away and was supposed to be sunday / monday - nothing significant here from the tail end of the QLD cyclone - some rain today but it's due to clear tomorrow - maybe 10mm worth
shocking how innacurate some of the forecasts have been
