Brilliance is coming

Yep, i posted a single box on eBay, woke up the next day with 9 seperate offers. Maybe 4 were ballpark serious. Had a price in mind, hit the price. Sold. Got chatting with the buyer afterwards and he was interested in the rest so we came to terms.

Given the interest I’m sure I could have pushed the market more, but I had my figure in mind and being able to move everything to one buyer that has credibility.. quite happy.

(Always a little anxious selling sealed wax.. some horror stories out there)
I've still got two left.

I'll hold onto them I think

The delay is almost getting peculiar now. Given we'll get a Select announcement a week or two ahead of the Gilmartin preview video, then another couple of weeks until release to allow time for SCC and public sale.

Mid-July appears the earliest and we'd need an announcement in the next week or so or could easily be looking at August and beyond.

It does feel eerily quiet, but probably not that much of a shock.

If you remove Prestige as the 1b release*, the second release in recent years has been...

*2022 Brilliance (early August)
*2021 Optimum (mid September)
*2020 Dominance (early September)
2019 Dominance (late June)
2018 Legacy, 2017 Certified, 2016 Certified, 2015 Honours, 2014 Honours (all July)

I'd say a July release is likely, maybe trying to make sure they don't creep up into a higher tax bracket this year :p

I'm also guessing a Hall of Fame update is coming?

??? 2023 (2018-2022) 5 years
Legacy 2018 (2012-2017) 6 years
Eternity 2012 (2007-2011) 5 years
Supreme 2007 (2003-2006) 4 years

By my latest search:
2021 Optimum: 1 at $900
2022 Optimum: 3 at $700, $900 and $1000
2021 Supremacy: 1 at $2500
2022 Brilliance: 1 at $888
You'd have to be jonesing pretty hard at those prices.

Imagine paying $900 for Brilliance and pulling a standard Ben Allan. Then realising the dude selling it probably bought 2 boxes and already pulled a Gold in his other box and that's why he's selling.

Not a chance people are paying that for a personal box, only the breakers will pay the crazy prices
