Hope somebody out there in Ozcards land can help me.

I won 3 boxes of Baseball from a US seller (popular seller with excellent feedback) and I paid with Paypal (paid for Global Priority shipping) and after 38 days I still haven't received my goods.

I contacted the seller and he said he would look after me, but he hasn't returned any of my emails.

What do I do to follow this up?
Any advice appreciated.

I had a similar thing just last week, realising one package didn't come after buying it through ebay/Paypal about 38 days ago. Filed a dispute, which then gives a 20 day window to try and work it out with the seller.

global priority should take no more than 8 working days (and usually as little as 5). You should get on to it soon

Thanks for the advice all.

I will give them one more day and then file a dispute with Paypal.

i have dealt with galasports and have always found them to be reliable. But having said that, don't let it go over 45 days and if i was you i would be lodging a claim with paypal right now.

make sure you hurry up with the paypal claim, and you should have had them ages ago. Most likely they have accidentally sent them regular shipping which takes about 3 months.

From memory, a couple of years ago I bought a Rasheed Wallace autographics from them. I paid immediately. The card never arrived and I sent them quite a few emails without reply.

I filed a complaint with Paypal and when I won, they came back to me with a firm email asking why I did not deal the complaint with them directly instead of going through Paypal.

And they actually also listed the same card within a week of me winning it the first time. And it sold for about $75 more.

Got my money back but no card. Would rather the card though.

Prior to that I have dealt with them without a problem.

Whether they thought I did not pay and so they relisted, and my emails were being deleted as Spam...........I dunno, cos I think they are quite a reputable group.

Every card I have bought from them takes forever to arrive. I am one of the few who seems to have that problem, but they do still get here.
I did complain to them about it at one stage and they gave me some credit to use.
Global Priority is OVER-RATED. It takes longer to arrive than Air Parcel Post alot of the time. I would think the goods will arrive, but they will take some extra days maybe. I would file a complaint in a day or so to give you control of the matter. When he provides a tracking/parcel number, you can look it up in the USPS website to see it's status. If he gives you a fake number, it won't come up, simple. Then you proceed to escelate the claim and get your money back.
For future parcel type buys I suggest USPS Air Parcel Post (4-7 days) with the purchase of insurance on top (usually only a few bucks for $100-$200 coverage) Always gets to Australia within a week guaranteed, sometimes as little as 3 days. The insurance covers buyer and seller if something goes wrong, so there's no need to worry about paypal complaints. The buyer usually likes this method if they don't mind heading to the PO to get it organised.

galasports

Matt,
I just received one of my Hakeems yesterday from Galasports. I paid on the 26th of March. It took 4 weeks to Arrive (normally around 1 week), I emailed them about it last friday and they said their international stuff has been taking alot longer to arrive in rescent weeks. Then the next day (monday) it arrived so It shouldn't be to far off.
They use online stamps so you can't see when they actually posted it but :(

Also I have brought off Gala about 5 times and never had a problem.
