imo yep, never cared for the whiney sound they produce.

I never knew they were rated let alone be over-rated, wasn't sure if you meant Rammstein or what. I like both just seein who you meant. They've never really self-promoted or big noted themselves. Some of their songs are epic length

it is being headlined by the most over rated band of all time. Definately not my cup of tea

Ill actually give you that one, not a fan of tool or rammstein to be honest.
I was really disappointed with the 2 headliners but the rest of the lineup is sick

I agree - Wacken, Up From The Ground, Summer Breeze etc etc.

In saying that, Soundwave should be good this time around with Maiden (Seen em once already though), Slayer (seen em twice already), Slash etc.

The Black Keys and Plan B will definitely be highlights.....check out Plan B's album (if you haven't already!) "The Defamation of Stickland Banks"....brilliant.

soundwave is a hell of alot better than the bdo.. has been for the last few years. your talking bands like qotsa, primus, slayer, rob zombie, devildriver, sevendust, all that remains and more are going.. there is no comparison what-so-ever. faith no more was like the greatest set I had ever seen in my LIFE at soundwave last year and yes that was at a festival not even there own standalone concert! if soundwave keeps pulling in all these sweet ass bands and bdo can only pump 2-3 major bands at a time why would you even waste your money? plus all there is there is just 13-14 running around annoying the crap out of you anyway lol!
