Anyone got any tips for Derby Day? I'm going to have an each-way bet on 'Barbaricus' at 15/1 in the Mackinnon Stakes, his run in the Caulfield Cup was huge, and they've put the Blinkers on him which should sharpen him up for the 2,000 metres.

Barbaricus will need to catch the ambulance to get home...no chance with that weight......he isnt a WFA horse he's a set weights horse.

My tips you will find here : http://www.vadimracing.com/

Don't know how but Im currently 6-0 in the NBA season.

Had Nuggets/Clippers Over 197.5 today which luckily went into Overtime and hit for me.

Got a multi tonight:
Leeds
Villa
Arsenal
Rangers
$25 to win $204

WOW.

Had $300 on Lakers -6!

Thought my money was gone during the first 3 quarters, and even when Lakers were up by 5 with 3 secs to go!
Then, Derek Fisher steps up and hits 2 free throws, to take the lead to 7, my bet covers and Im a happy man :D

Just a quick heads up on 2 horses running this week. Save A Buck's back in Brissie, should be on the Saturday, I'd say. Loves running in Brisbane and and ground with the sting taken out of it, so conditions should be ideal. Had a poor jump 2 starts ago, and then got stuck behind a wall of horses before finishing well for 7th out of 13. Last run he cruised to an easy win, and previous to the 7th he had two wins and two 2nds on the trot. Been placed 10 of his 12 starts, with 4 wins. And apparently Glen Colless has been calling for the ride, a good sign. The other horse is Shovoot, Save A Bucks stable-mate. I tipped him on here before and he didn't fire unfortunately, but apparently that was his first run back from a bit of a spell, which I didn't know. He's got a respectable record of 40 races for 10 wins and 9 minor placings, and his 4th run back should be near its peak. Not sure where or when he's racing yet, I'll try to find out today. Probably Coffs Harbour or Grafton. Save A Bucks the one I'll be loading up on, but depending on the betting, might have a flutter on Shovoot as well...

Thursday Coffs Harbour Race 7 no.4 Shovoot. FYI also it will be his 3rd run back not 4th - 54424x63 SHOVOOT 4 different riders in last 5 starts is never a good sign

I'll be passing but good luck

Yeah, the guy I was talking to said it was his third run, which is usually near his best, but somehow I got it as his 4th run looking on the net. A site I was looking at said he raced on 10/10, 24/10, 5/11, and now on Thursday. Does that mean you don't count the first run back from a spell? Ex: The first run back would be actually the one on the 24th? If this is the case, no wonder I always seem to back good horses on the wrong run... And yeah, he has had quite a few jockey changes, which isn't encouraging. But if Josh Jones stays on him this run it'll be his third in a row, and he's a promising young jockey. But as I say, Save A Buck's the one I'm really after. But now I know what time and track, at least I can monitor the betting a bit... Thanks for the help.

I just noticed Hardy's got Nuclear Medicine there on Saturday in the first race as well. Another quality horse, but he's got some stiff opposition in there too...

I missed out at Sandown, but i landed the Murray Bridge Quaddie. There were 5 scratching's in Leg 1, Leg 2, and Leg 4, and all the Subs Won which increased my Quaddie percentage to 45.33%, the Quaddie paid $269.50 so my 45.33% quaddie share was $122.17, which gave me a total profit of $59.17 for the day, better than nothing i guess.

Get on the Celts today over the Warriors at -12pts!

The Warriors are playing back to back and putting up a very small team with new faces built around their outside shot. The Celts D does such a great job at switching and getting out to shots and holding teams FG%. The Celts are off 2 days rest and at home.

Should be more than covered imo.

and guys if you are going to post in this thread its better if you actually post your plays BEFORE the game not just come in here and post afterwards that you bet on something and won. That doesn't help out members with their thoughts or bets and doesn't gain you any credibility.
