Well, I'm going to have a little flutter on The Departed to win the Academy award for best picture 2007 bud
But on Basketball mate, tomorrow, the Bobcats (No Hanidcap) at $2.17 to beat the Hornets
Also will have a little multi for a big pay out (hardly do them, as I have no luck with multi's and the odds are always against you, but seeing as I'm running hot, why not

Into Utah $1.67.
Paying a nice $5.07

I got $2.10 on my $100 bet and won with Melbourne Victory and I used the winnings to put $100 on Labour to win the NSW Election !

Great stuff guys, good to see you all won some very nice money
The coach did what I though he should, and they won because of that. Though, it caused their big guys to pick up some early fouls and got a bit heated in the 3rd. But they persisted, and did not play like the $2.17 underdogs they were listed at. I just didn't get the bookies on this one, and we cleaned them out because of it
No need for thanks guys. All I did was just tell you what I was doing (just like my other mates), and why I was doing it. I don't tell people what to bet on. You deciding to get on is your call.

i was watching the game on nba.com (the stats anyway), hornets had a huge 3rd quart and broke out on a 10nil run , it was neck and neck throughout with the hornets getting the better most of the time. Lucky the bobcats hung in there and just outpaced them.

Yep, but you have to remember mate. You are on a team, that the bookies think suck compared to the $1.60 fav. That's the difference.
And obviously, in the end, there was a very good reason on why I specially didn't take no handicap, as I knew, they if they ran what I said, they would win in the end. I am just glad the coach saw it that way, and Morrison was hitting those kick shots when it mattered.

Lakers have been bad lately and Portlad had a good win against Utah today....their confidence should be high. Hopefully the Lakers dont come out of the funk they are in....[-X

Not saying they are like the Bobcats today, the price is just about right on this, but thought the Heat would be shorter. Something like $2.00 or $1.95. Rockets entitled to be favs, with a great record at home and great D.
Rockets really emabarrassed the Heat last time out, and the Heat will be dirty about that one. I remember Yao was on fire coming into that match, playing unbeleivable ball and he was talking it up and if I am not mistaken, Shaq didn't last a game after that and was out. Now with Shaq back, I can't see Mutombo holding up the fort against ZO and Shaq. All those images of Mutombo getting dunked on by Shaq and ZO are still burned in my head. With Riley back running the plays as well, it's another great plus for them. It will be a different ball game to last time. The team will be motivated to win first up for Riley, and I can already see the head lines "Heat back again with Riley, just like old times".
The only thing that makes me a bit iffy from calling this one a special, is the Heat don't have great perimeter D. The rockets will be bombing away outside in the one, taking the longer outside shots. And if they start dropping, will be a long night for the Heat. This is my main concern.

The $2.21 isn't sensational, but it's a decent play I think?

will put my picks up here too, i had 9 NBA picks yesterday on another site (121s.com) and 8 got up. my 5 leg multi won
but my 9 leg play went down cos of the Utah +1.5 pick, they lost to the Blazers by 3
