Hi all out there,
Please forgive me if this topic has come up before, but I am curious to see what everyone rates as the best ever design for a base/common basketball card.
I was watching a few 90’s breaks on YouTube and saw a break of 96/97 Ex 2000. I don’t know if I have seen a better base design. The card companies really went for it in the 90’s with some extraordinary great card designs (and some terrible
). It was a great time to collect.
Ex 2000 was a simple design with multiple technologies that made this a standout product for me. As much as I was a huge Topps Finest fan, Ex 2000 felt like the dawn of a new era in cards. It certainly didn’t feel like you were holding a mere base card in your hand!
What does everyone else think...?
