Just out of interest, what does it cost to grade per card?

The cost for me to send the card to the US was $125, that included insurance of $2500 for the card. Beckett cost was around $120 for 5 day service. They had a promo, which was pay for 10 days service for 5 days service.

Custom fees were a little over $200. As declared value over $1000 incurs these fees.

You dont have to pay customs for an item you owned when it left the country... Only if importing it for the first time.

Why not tell them you pulled from a pack in Australia, then sent for grading and now its returning...

If you flew to the US with the card in your luggage, then returned home with it, they wouldnt add gst on top....

Otherwise every rich housewife would owe $1000's in customs when returning from holidays with their chanel/gucci clothes that they took over for the holiday etc.

Coopz05 that's what I thought. Stupid I had to pay customs fees for my item...

Beckett should have stated it was a returned item.

Might enquire and see if I can get a refund. Still have all the paper work.
