Sad, sad, sad. but that'll keep for another thread.Good to see them moving on to bigger things.
I ranted about signature cards a while back and I'm gonna go again. Firstly, I am a huge fan of official signature cards (don't have the inclination or the time to go for personal sigs). 2ndly, I like the Future Force / Top Prospects line from Select, there have been some great cards - looking back at Rookie cards from players like Gallen, Lewis, Marshall, Thaiday, Inglis etc. is great. Problem is that so many have been wasted on duds. Select kept pumping out the same thing over too many sets. The 2011 Champions sigs release was a change for the better - popular, established players - but it wasn't enough and now they're gone (Select that is). ESP would be wise to ditch the rookies for top line players, they have gone big with sigs in this first release so fingers crossed.
Anyway, back to the original question. A Terry Lamb signature would have done me for ever. There haven't been too many Doggies sigs over the years - El Masri, Patten, Utai, Corey Hughes would have been good - instead we got Ben Roberts.
