I sent one yesterday to one of our Asian neighbours, was only 5 jersey cards in a bubble mailer, $9.60. This has gone up in the last couple of week for sure.

The thickness of the item generally ha a BIG result on the cost, so even if you have to get a bigger mailer, probably worth it so it's not as thick.

Yes....this is exactly right.....the PO workers use the mail gauge and if if doesn't fit through the price goes up!
