They got it right on wed by including Doherty. The rest of the bowlers were hopeless, don't know how Johnson is our main strike bowler. No idea of a length ball. The Sri Lankans only allowed Hussey one four in his 71, Good tight bowling. Today the selectors had brain fade sticking to the same old bunch of hasbeens with Doherty and Ferguson sitting on the bench. Don't know who is the more to blame, half-wit selectors or half-wit bowlers.
Written by a batsmen no doubt
I don't think the bowlers were wholly to blame.....the half wit batsmen only scoring 230 on an absolute belter started the rot by posting a below par score.............and Clarke lacks any innovative ideas and or inspiring leadership qualities......
I'm still trying to get my head around Bracken not been given a contract....wasn't it only 12 months ago he was the No 1 ranked bowler in the world in 1 day cricket...... Siddle is to predictible and Johnson is just to erratic.

[/COLOR]Good read - lighthearted but sums things up:
Beating England the way to rise from the ashes
And some noteworthy points from Deano:
Two coaches key to success
I would love to see this Aussie 12 at some stage this summer:
Watson
Hughes
Ponting
Clarke
Ferguson
Khawaja
Paine
Smith
Doherty
Siddle
Hilfenhaus
Bollinger
Katich, White, Haddin and Johnson could be unlucky to miss out (handy reserves mind you), but Hussey, Hauritz and North have got to make way for some young blood IMO.
