Despite the title don't get your hopes up - just some low and mid end stuff which was waiting for me to backscan. Nothing overly special but it's a good way for me to keep the hobby fresh and interesting by looking at some new products... Let me know if you're interested in anything always happy to help out a set chase, PC or team collectors when I can. Kudos to those who I've dealt with in respect of these cards - champions every one of you!

The Rookies

Hornets up first - first rights to la iph!

Brian Roberts Brilliant Beginnings - the kid can shoot!

Lance Thomas /199 - Duke kid.....

Cedric Simmons HP Patch auto /150 - actually says Oklahoma City Hornets on the back with no mention of New Orleans!

The Select Base Rookie Autos

Miles Plumlee /399 - won't lie, I think this Duke kid was drafted about 30 positions too early...

Kyle O'Quinn /449 - second round sleeper, will turn it up a notch next year. Ate up Ayon's minutes.

Malcolm Lee /399 - dude can finish!

Certified Rookie Roll Call Autos

Markieff Morris - big dude with 3pt range and low post moves, respect!

Kyle Singler /279 - second round steal for the Pistons and a Macaulay Culkin look a like (google it - it's actually quite uncanny!)

Jenkins, John Jenkins

One of the purest shooters in recent rookie crops, an light it up if he gets the minutes....

Leaf Ultimate on-card

Select Prizm /199 (mostly on sticker - heh heh)

The Swede

Teammates with Jenkins and Festus Ezeli at Vanderbilt... Born in Sweden and went to high school in New Mexico - an interesting childhood! Defensive stud just needs to find an offensive niche....

The 'Other Beard' in Houston - Royce White

This beard probably has better playmaking instincts than the other one - this PF averaged 5apg in college, had a FG% better than his FT% - a real oddity. Oh, and his beard is to honor John Lennon.......a crazy cat for sure!

Royce White /299

Prizm auto /199

Preferred /99 - my first Panini's Choice Award! ...and here I am without a speech to read!

Couple of Oddballs

Jermaine Taylor RPM #1/5 - ebay 1/1 baby!

Dee Brown Notable Notations /50

Killer nickname - "One Man Fastbreak"

The Aussies

The Honorary Aussie - if Kyrie wont start for us hopefully this kid will one day!

Jonny Flynn Certified 4 colour patch /25

Jonny Flynn NT - Almost a Triple Patch auto /49

Chris 'Pigeon Toed' Anstey - not my favourite Aussie big man but he still represented! One of my favourite auto sets too - gotta love the embossing on those old school Autographics!

Andrew Bogut /75 - my first Bogey auto! On acetate and rookie year where the Aussie went #1!

M.V.Steve

Only a base card but a nice one at that!

Exquisite /225

Hoopla GU

.....#d 2/5!

..and finally a bit of gold - two colour piping patch /25

Like I said at the start - nothing huge, but always good to look at some new stuff. The pile of cards to be scanned grows smaller which is always good! I'll scan up some nicer goodies next time!

As always, thanks for looking and any comments much appreciated.

First time I've ever been linked with the phrase 'rock n roll'! Have to get excited by an ebay 1/1 though! Ohhhhhh yeah!

Enjoy the commentary! Nice range of pickups mate.

I'm just glad somebody actually bothered to read it! Probably more entertaining than the cards themselves this time around!

Nice mate

Cheers Matty, the maildays will only get better from here!

Nice additions with the low numbered nash and sweet seeing the different rookies!

love your maildays mate

Thanks Kim, no point having cards if you can't display them, right?

The Nash aren't for me, just passing through my hot little hands! Some small scale speculative investing in Skip's Rookie Picks (results not guaranteed)!

this is true also love how you tell us about the player nice touch!

Be truthful now SKip, do you really have any idea how many set chases you have going on or is it a case of see card like card buy card. No actually I reckon it is see card buy card

I have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 set chases and 6 PC players to keep me busy (3 for my bro). The Nash's are moving onto a new home after a temporary pit stop and the others are trade bait, I don't bust many boxes so this is my way of looking at some new product in hand too... You do realise I sell and trade cards too!

And you do realise my comment was said tongue in cheek

Great Mailday Skip, Love the commentary too!!

Cheers mate, knowing the stories behind the players and the cards is what makes collecting fun and keeps it fun for me....

I like IKEA eerggh I mean JT;)
Woow, your are also getting into NASHY pc as well Skipp? Nice start!

Oh I get it! I thought JT was Jermaine Taylor! JT just needs to refine his offensive game and he'll be a good two way player - outstanding athlete. The Nashes are for a collector friend of mine overseas - so if you have anything of interest give me a shout!
