Anyone tried Upper Deck Epacks?

Yep, agree - they need a mechanism so you can get a base set somehow if you want it.

It's interesting though as a lot of people seem to be hitting it hard for a few days, and then "cashing out" as it were...so I think the number of people buying is going to dwindle rapidly until the next release comes. I've already stopped buying Aliens, and have slowed with the Marvel as well...and it's only been about 5 days.
 
I just jumped on this the other day but haven't really had a good look through it and was curious what do you actually get physical copies of? all those sketches and autos etc I see you pulling??

Yep, they're all real cards that you can get sent out to you or to your COMC if you use it...the only ones you can't get sent are the Alien base cards, probably because they're pretty worthless....

that is a pretty cool concept especially for us people that are starved of trading cards
 
so I just opened my first pack of marvel and got

Frankensteins Monster 1736/1999
Man Thing Gold Signature Series

not sure if it is good or not :p

Not terrible at all, anything low numbered like /99 seems to have good value...the high number base are big money if you can snag them...
 
I don't believe so, because they're actually already at COMC - they're doing all the legwork for UD. Only costs if you want them to sell them for you, or if you ship them home...I think...maybe...LOL!
 
Went a few more before sending some stuff.. Didn't think I got much, but when I checked finally got a High Series. These things are going for crazy money...not sure I'll keep it or move it, character doesn't mean much to me...

And while I need to stop buying this stuff, I did go a few today..and a couple of Aliens, which while cheaper, don't deliver as much, but at least I got something today..

Yeah its a little sobering to see $175 for a box of 12 e-packs when you don't get a physical version of every card.
