I got a couple put away now. will sell them soon i think while the hype is still up on them...

Hey guys. one of my mates down here in Canberra works in the mint and the coloured version of the coin is a very limited run, rare, and definitely worth keeping if you get it. Only a few thousand were minted for circulation. There is also a non coloured (standard gold/brassy colour) version of the coin which is being run in circulation in much much higher numbers and isn't worth anything really in a collectibles sense. If you get a coloured one, hold onto it!

Got a couple of these about a month or two ago and held onto them but didnt realise they were a RARE run, I just liked the fact they were coloured.

Yep, value and scarcity is in the circulated coins though. Ones bought from the mint, while still cool, are all marked "C" to show that that they were uncirculated and made for sale.
